A standalone printer and a standalone computer are not really much good to anyone in a company. The printer can still process all that it needs to from a user that inputs data and it can then all be printed out to the printer that is connected to it, but that’s about as far as it goes. A company really starts to operate like a company as soon as these resources are all networked together. Then many users can print to the printer and not have to bottleneck everything around the one user. (more…)
