Cabling Division
Westech’s cabling division is the newest addition to Westech Systems. This was a decision borne out of the priority with which Westech views network issues. The cabling division is perfectly equipped and geared to solving any cabling issue quickly and efficiently
The cabling division was established and set up in early 2007 and was headed by Ivan Hulett whose aim is to bring all Westech’s clients networks up to date in order to run more efficiently for everyday working environments.
We have invested in some very advanced network testing equipment, which will allow us to find faults quickly and effectively. Our equipment can determine, where exactly on the network the fault lies and how is must be resolved.
The services offered are as follows:
- Site audits and evaluation of the client’s cabling onsite.
- Recommendations on what equipment and layout of floor map of clients premises.
- New installations of network points. (Add on’s to existing network).
- Moving of existing networks points or termination of old unwanted point (new installations).
- Labeling of existing points and server cabinets.
- Neaten any site cabling that requires this service e.g tidy up server cabinet and data cabinets.
- Installation of telephone, PABX systems and support.
- Tracing of existing points and termination if need be.
- Fibre installation for fast efficient connectivity.
- CCTV installations.
- Supply & install UPS.
- Redundancy plans for back up.
- Documentation and at a later stage diagram of each site audited, clean and new network set up.
