Westech BEE Scorecard Report

The company has earned 61.5 points on the B-BBEE scorecard making it a level 5 B-BBEE contributor. The score is based on three elements, that is, preferential procurement, enterprise development and socio-economic development. The data on employment equity still needs to be updated before the points can be determined.

Preferential procurement
They got full points because its four main suppliers have good scores and the supply spend figures are high. The company exceeded the target percentage of 40%.

Enterprise development
The company needed to spend R10 000 on enterprise development to earn full points. They exceeded this target by a large margin. The average monthly spend on enterprise development was R15 000, which alone was enough to get full points.

Socio-economic development
They fell slightly short of the target 1.0% in order to get maximum points. Westech managed 11.5 points on this element. The company needs to spend R2 700 more on charities to earn maximum points.

Westech can easily get to level 3 if there is clarity on the employment equity information.
